Hello and welcome to Tom's rarely updated LJ. I admit, I mostly use this space to look out at my friends and such, but I'm terrible at posting. That said, I've just moved to Oregon with my sweety (who doesn't have an LJ, but there you go) I'm a very much liberal sort of a guy, Occasionally even progressive or even.. socialist in politics. I'm also Episcopalian, which is to say, liberal Christan, claiming as little relation as possible to the crazy aunt's in the attic who are giving the rest of us a bad name. I have, in the last year, started on the path to becoming a Massage Therapist, which was sadly interrupted by illness and depression, but I hope to resume that before long.

I am an avid gamer, both online and pen and paper, I'm not so much into the console thing, but I do have the occasional flirtation them. I love science fiction and fantasy and historical fiction and.. sometimes... techno-thrillers... even if I think that's a terrible name for them.

If you asked me what kind of music I like, I'd say 'good music' I don't care much about category, though folk folk-rock and show tunes will always make me a happy Tom
